Beautiful Ohio!

I just got back from a wonderful vacation in beautiful, green, hot, humid, wonderful Ohio! I grew up in Dublin Ohio (elementary through first year of high school) and absolutely loved living there. For my birthday my parents gave me a ticket to Ohio-- what a treat :) It was so fun to re-unite with old friends, and make a few new ones. I forgot just how green Dublin is! I would love to live there again.

Also, on my trip I happened to run into Sheri Dew and Sister Nelson (Elder Nelson's wife) and hear them speak at a tri-stake Relief Society Activity. Talk about AWESOME. They spoke true words of wisdom and just really made me have a greater desire to serve a mission.

Also.... Patria, Sister Pusey, and I made a trip up to Kirtland OH. Kirtland is one of the most special places on earth. I always have such a wonderful time there. I can't pin-point a place where I "knew the church is true" or found a testimony of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ- but I know that Kirtland is a place where my testimony really blossomed and my knowledge of my Savior and his Gospel greatly increased.

I also took special note of all the sister missionaries I saw in Ohio... the clothes they were wearing and the way they spoke and carried themselves because I will soon join their ranks!

Other adventures in Ohio included Greaters ice cream, VBS pizza party, polar bears, ultimate ping pong, babysitting, petland, going to the pool, graduation parties, fountain drinks-- as low as .69!!!--Eddie Bauer, and just hanging out with some of my best friends.

The Pusey Family and me: Brother Pusey will argue that I am still legally a member of their family ;)

I could spend the rest of my life eating Greaters Ice Cream.... seriously the best ice cream on earth.

Visiting Sarah at the Columbus Zoo... number one zoo in the country!

POLAR BEARS!!!! One of them jumped into the water, it was AWESOME!!

Seriously HUGE animals... But they were totally cute! They acted very similar to dogs. This is my new dream pet.

Paparazzi Prom

So, in a nut shell my brother and sister are models and they went to Prom... Tia and I had fun getting our nails done and buying fun and cute accessories. Here are some pictures from that fun night!!

Summer Time.... And the Living is Easy!

Can I just say, I absolutely LOVE being home with my family. It is the best. Sunny southern California is the best- beautiful weather, beautiful beaches, beautiful shopping... beautiful life! I've been running from work to end of the year concerts, to plays, to in-n-out. I think I've been to yogurtland a million times....
At Southcoast with Topper! Eating cookies :)
Tia in "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" She was so good!!
Absolutely beautiful!!!

Sisters, Sisters, never were there such devoted sisters!
And, as a special Treat Rachel had a long layover in LAX, so I was able to go spend some time chatting and catching up with her before she left the country.

One door closes...

So... I know this is SO late in coming, but never late then never! As the school years came to a close I did a few fun things...

One was have an end of the year N.E.L.L. meeting. I would tell you what it meant, but then I would have to kill you. The members include Monica, Rachel, and I. We have been roommates since our freshman year and I absolutely love these girls. I consider them my sisters. Our last meeting was held as the semester was closing. Rachel is off to Ghana, I am going to Peru, and Monica is venturing the wild lands of Provo, UT this summer. We decided to hit up an AMAZING Indian food place in Provo- The Bombay House... seriously SO good!

The end of the year was also accompanied by a trip with Patria and Rachel to The Chocolate Cafe -- Patria and I LOVE this place. We could go there every weekend. It has fabulous cake, soda, music... and it's adorable!!

Then we faced finals (rrrrggg....) and somehow survived with passing grades! (well, more than passing- pretty good actually) And after a long night of packing (thanks Patria!) Rebecca and I head home with good music, good food (Chipotle- yum!) and my car lil' R2 (aka trixie). It was a long trip- but Rebecca was oh so patient with my gramma driving.

Also- just as a side note- all of these girls in the photos below are my sisters, related or not, doesn't matter. Best friends forever, love them always!!
